Farewell Grandad

Ted - Edward Andrew Little

5/4/1925 - 19/7/2009

Service No. 452747, L.A.C R.N.Z.A.F.

The dew drops shine like the star you have become
Shining down lovingly on each and everyone
The heavens have gained another bright soul
Leaving our lives an unfillable hole
I will miss you now you have moved on
But I know your love and legacy still live on
You touched my life and you loved me true
Grandad I will always love you

As you journey to the Summerlands
We wish you love and peace
We know many loving reunions
Will come with your release
You will now watch over us
With all those gone before
Your love will always be with us
For now and evermore

Four Little Girls

I saw four Little Girls on early morning
Enter the throne room curious and exploring
The eldest and youngest with unrepenting glee
Ran straight to the thrones all gigg'ily
They ooohed and aaahed with unbridled desire
Then used the middle two as stepping stone to get higher
With hands and feet they climbed up, pushing down
The middle girls most painfully to the ground
They lorded over with put upon airs
Holding court from their mighty chairs
They bossed and cursed and spoke most unkind
Fulfilling any desire and thought they could find
Reducing to tears the girls still below
The misery created continued to flow
Looking at them my poor heart was sore
Breaking for the two girls on the floor
For the queens felt powerful carrying on
It was from the crying that true power shone
Bathed in white light their souls shined out pure
While the two on the thrones shone as bright as a sewar
In the end I know who will be blessed with enrichment
For the divine blesses the loving of heart not two greedy bitches
